Edwardian Ointment & 'Glamour' Pots
This section shows pots which were produced during the Edwardian era, circa 1902 - 1910.
Following on from the Victorian era, ointment pots continue to be found, produced by many retailers. The material used for the construction of these pots changed in that a majority of the pots were being made from porcelain, some with gold bands around the top and bottom. Quite a few of the so called 'Glamour' pots carry nice pictorials of Edwardian women and carry detailed transfers.
I have included a page showing Edwardian pots that I would like to add to my collection and there is also a page has to show Edwardian pots that have been sold at auction.
The Edwardian Ointment pots and the Edwardian Glamour pots can be found by clicking on the following page links.
Edwardian Cream pots
All these pots are of heavy stoneware construction. There are six pots in the series and they would have had a bakerlite type cap on the top as shown on the Witch Hazel pot below which are rarely found due to their perishable nature.
The Glycerine and the Cold Cream of Roses pots are the hardest pots to find.
